MEET ALANA HARGATE

Being a true Libra, I’ve always been captivated by beauty in all its forms. From art, to fashion, architecture, and design - aesthetically pleasing things have always stirred something deep within me, evoking emotions that go beyond words. But for me, I’ve always equally loved diving into the meaning and processes behind these creations.

It was no surprise to anyone who knew me that I would find my way into a creative career, one that allowed me to bring beautiful ideas to life, of course. After exploring various creative paths that didn’t quite ignite my inner fire, during my third year at university studying Fashion Marketing I stumbled upon the perfect concept that harmonised my passions and talents together: brand development - a field where creativity, storytelling, and strategy intertwine.

Fast forward to now, and I’m still as equally in love with brand development as I was the moment I discovered it. I get to live my purpose daily through brand development - by helping purpose-guided, kind-hearted female founders transform scattered ideas and dreams into a brand that reflects who they truly are, what they stand for and the impact they’re here to make.

Even after discovering my love for brand development and founding The Creative Gaze, I spent forever trying to fit into moulds that weren’t meant for me. Striving to conform to the modern online business hustle culture drained me, leaving me unfulfilled and disconnected from my authentic self. After multiple pauses to reflect and recharge, I realised something had to change.

Delving deeper into my healing journey, I uncovered the beliefs holding me back and created space to focus on what truly matters - my purpose, my happiness, and my integrity. As a result, I pivoted, and implemented ways of business that suit me, ditching what the internet told me I should be doing.

I’ve been able to transform The Creative Gaze into a true expression of my soul’s mission, one rooted in serving and guiding others to embody their highest, truest selves. I hope that every interaction with The Creative Gaze leaves you feeling loved, supported, and inspired to create your own utopia - one where you too can live your purpose daily.
